Tours

Group Tours of any size are welcome at the Grotto! Take a tour and visit other wonderful sites in West Bend and surrounding areas. Be sure to customize it. We would love to help you create the day you would like to have!

Fr. Dobberstein wished that no one be excluded from being able to see the Grotto Shrine due to finances. Therefore, we do not charge to go through the Shrine. We ask, humbly for donations to help us continue to further Fr. Dobberstein’s mission and legacy. Thank you.

Notes

  • Bus parking is available.
  • Tour reservations are recommended for groups of 15 or more.
  • We suggest that groups allow for 3 hours at the Grotto: one for the tour, one to eat, and one to visit the museum, church, gift shop, and for extra time to walk through the Grotto again.
  • Please use our contact form to submit a request for a tour at least 3 weeks in advance so that we can better accommodate your needs.

School Tours

Father Dobberstein built the Grotto to bring people closer to God. But he also wanted it to be a geological classroom. Don’t hesitate to use our ready-to-learn outdoor classroom for your religious or geological needs!

Pilgrimages

A pilgrimage to the Grotto of the Redemption offers you an opportunity for spiritual renewal and growth. Here, you can attend Mass at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and find quiet time for reflection within one of the nine grottos of the shrine, a place of unparalleled beauty and a silent testimony in stone.

This holy place is a sanctuary from the hectic pace of life today and provides a respite for those seeking a contemplative setting. Come for a few hours or a few days.

If you would like more information on setting up a pilgrimage for your group, please contact us.
